Bituach Leumi, gov.il and the banks open from abroad today, but access rules change without warning, and a bank's anti-fraud checks can hold a transfer or a change of details made from abroad. It's easier to set it up in advance and just press Connect when you need it.

Not always. Their servers sit in datacenters, and IP databases such as MaxMind flag datacenter and VPN addresses; Israeli sites and their anti-fraud systems can use that to block a connection or add checks. A residential Israeli IP like ours comes from a home internet connection, so it is far less likely to be flagged — less likely, not never.

The ones that restrict access by IP. In our check on 23 October 2026 these did not open from abroad: the Tax Authority, the pension clearing house, Michpal payslips, CityPay and several municipal sites, Leumit's personal area and Clalit Online. Bituach Leumi, gov.il, the banks and the Maccabi and Meuhedet logins still open without a VPN, but any site can close access from abroad at any time. To receive SMS codes you will also need an Israeli phone number.

No. You can connect from any country. The value is the Israeli exit IP, so your own physical location does not matter. Some services use their own app-based two-factor approval — set those apps up in advance.

We use AES-256 encryption and keep no activity logs — we never record the sites you visit, your traffic or its contents. We only keep a record of the connection sessions themselves (when they started and ended, the address they came from and the amount of data) for support and abuse prevention, and delete it after 90 days.

No. Your connection to the bank is encrypted by the bank's own site (HTTPS/TLS) — we carry it, we cannot read it. We will also never ask you for a password, a card number or a one-time code.
