Pango Personal Area Not Loading Abroad? How to Cancel a Plan and Stop the Charges

In our check on 23 October 2026, the Pango personal area for private customers didn't open from abroad. The Pango site itself opens, so the login button is there, but it leads to a closed page. Through SuperStableVPN, with an Israeli IP, the personal area opened. After a move, what most people need from Pango is one thing: cancel the paid plan and other services so the monthly charges stop. Below is how to do that through the personal area and without it.
Open the Pango personal area with an Israeli IP: free for 3 days, no credit card required. After that it's 17 CAD a month (about ₪36), taxes included, and only if you choose to subscribe. You'll need the free OpenVPN app: we send you a configuration file and instructions, you connect and open the Pango personal area. There's no separate app of ours to install.
What you need from Pango after a move
All of this is according to Pango (removing services, plans, toll roads, FAQ, in Hebrew):
- Cancelling the paid plan. The basic plan is free; the paid plans cost ₪15.90 to ₪29.90 a month for the first car, plus a charge for each additional car, billed to the Pango account monthly.
- Cancelling toll road billing. If the "כבישי אגרה" (toll roads) service is on in the app, trips on Highway 6, Highway 6 North and the Fast Lane are billed to the Pango account, with a combined invoice emailed at the end of the month. While the service is on, your toll invoices go through Pango.
- Deleting the account. You can remove services or delete the account at any time; the agreement ends within 3 business days of your request.
- Cars on the account are added in the personal area in the app, under "הרכבים שלי" (my cars).
How login works
The Pango site has two login buttons: "חשבון פרטי" (private account) leads to a login page that doesn't open from abroad; "חשבון עסקי" (business account) leads to a separate page, which did open from abroad. Pango's public pages don't describe how the login itself works or where the code is sent. The personal area on the site can only remove the services that are added there; everything else goes through customer service.
What you can do without the website
From public sources — Pango contact, removing Pango services (in Hebrew):
- WhatsApp for private customers: +972-50-443-4500. The digital service works Sun–Thu 08:00–18:00, Fri 08:00–13:00, Israel time.
- Email: [email protected]. Include the account holder's mobile number and ID number, only the last 4 digits of the card on the account, and what you're asking for.
- Phone: *4500; different Pango pages give different hours for it. Star numbers usually can't be dialled from abroad, so this is mostly a route for relatives in Israel. Public transport: *5090.
- Registered mail to the address given in the terms of use.
- Escalation to the head of customer service: [email protected].
How to get in with an Israeli IP
- Sign up for SuperStableVPN: 3 days free, no credit card required. Install the free OpenVPN client on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android or Linux and import the configuration file we send you (setup).
- Connect and check that an IP-lookup site shows Israel.
- Open pango.co.il and click "כניסה" (login), then "חשבון פרטי". If a login form appears, the connection problem is solved.
Ours is a static IP from a range of Israeli residential addresses. Sites flag such addresses less often than a regular VPN's datacenter ones, though no site promises to accept them (residential IP vs a regular VPN).
What a VPN doesn't fix
- SMS codes. To receive SMS codes you will also need an Israeli phone number; see SMS codes from Israel abroad.
- Highway 6 and Fast Lane invoices come straight from the roads when toll billing isn't on in Pango; how to pay them is in Highway 6 from abroad.
- Other services closed from abroad are in the table of 106 Israeli websites.
