HOT Website Not Loading Abroad? How to Cancel TV and Internet After a Move

Moving out: a person carrying a box, unplugged TV and router cables on a cabinet

In our check on 23 October 2026, the HOT website didn't open from abroad. Through SuperStableVPN, with an Israeli IP, the site opened. After a move, what most people need from HOT is one thing: cancel the TV and internet, return the equipment and stop paying. Below is what the site offers for that and how to manage without it.

Open the HOT site with an Israeli IP: free for 3 days, no credit card required. After that it's 17 CAD a month (about ₪36), taxes included, and only if you choose to subscribe. You'll need the free OpenVPN app: we send you a configuration file and instructions, you connect and open the HOT site. There's no separate app of ours to install.

What you need from HOT after a move

  • Cancelling. We didn't find a separate page on the HOT site describing how residential customers cancel TV and internet. Under the Consumer Protection Law (section 13ד, in Hebrew), you can give notice orally, by phone or at the company's premises, or in writing: by registered mail, and also by email or fax if the company has them. The contract ends within 3 business days of the notice.
  • Returning the equipment. According to HOT, set-top boxes and routers go back at its service centres; the contact page puts it as "want to replace a remote? return equipment?" (contact, service centres, in Hebrew).
  • Bills and changing the payment card. The HOT site menu has "החשבונית שלי" (my invoice) and "עדכון אמצעי תשלום" (update payment method) in the personal area; the bill can also be viewed in the My HOT app.
  • Rescheduling or cancelling a technician visit: also in self-service on the site.
  • If your internet provider is separate: HOT supplies the infrastructure, but the provider can be someone else, HOTnet or, for example, Bezeq International. The provider is cancelled with the provider itself.

How login works

We couldn't confirm how the HOT personal-area login works today: the login page doesn't open from abroad and isn't in the archive. The My HOT app's App Store listing says some actions require identification as a HOT customer. To receive SMS codes you will also need an Israeli phone number.

What you can do without the website

From public sources — HOT contact page, HOT public complaints, HOT business support, in Hebrew:

  • WhatsApp: 053-8856900.
  • Phone: *6910. Customer service Sun–Thu 07:00–15:00, Fri and holiday eves 07:00–12:00, Israel time; technical support 24/7.
  • A number for calls from abroad: HOT doesn't publish one. *6910 is an Israeli short code, so from abroad WhatsApp is easier.
  • Facebook is also listed on the contact page.
  • Complaints commissioner (נציב פניות הציבור): [email protected], fax 077-7078282, post: HOT מערכות תקשורת בע"מ, יורו-פארק, קיבוץ יקום 60972. The reply comes by email within 14 business days.
  • Business customers: *6988 or 1-800-10-6988, both Israeli numbers.

HOT doesn't publish a general email or postal address for ordinary requests on its contact page.

How to get in with an Israeli IP

  1. Sign up for SuperStableVPN: 3 days free, no credit card required. Install the free OpenVPN client on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android or Linux and import the configuration file we send you (setup).
  2. Connect and check that an IP-lookup site shows Israel.
  3. Open hot.net.il and the customer-service section or the personal area.

Ours is a static IP from a range of Israeli residential addresses. Sites flag such addresses less often than a regular VPN's datacenter ones, though no site promises to accept them (residential IP vs a regular VPN).
