Israeli VPN Free for 3 Days: What to Test During the Trial

A laptop and phone connected to a home, a three-day calendar and a ticked checklist

The SuperStableVPN trial lasts 3 days and needs no credit card. Start with the Israeli sites that don't open from abroad, because that is where you see the difference at once: the Tax Authority, the pension clearing house (HaMislaka), CityPay and municipal sites, Leumit's personal area and Clalit Online. Here is what to test, in order.

Step 1. Connect to Israel and check your IP

  • Sign up and confirm the two codes, one by email and one by phone. Your configuration file is emailed to you as soon as both are confirmed, and you can download it again from your account.
  • Install the free OpenVPN client on your computer and phone; your account links to it for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. Import the configuration file and connect. Step-by-step setup and routers: Israeli VPN with OpenVPN.
  • Open any IP-lookup site. The country should be Israel and the provider an Israeli internet provider (listed as an ISP), not a hosting company. Why that matters: Residential Israeli IP vs a regular VPN.

Step 2. Test the sites you need that are closed from abroad

In our check on 23 October 2026, these did not open from abroad:

Open each one once with the VPN off and again with it on. Off, the site will most likely not open. On, these pages loaded in our check, but sites change their rules, and that is exactly what the trial lets you check for yourself. If one still doesn't, note what you see on the screen and tell support during the trial; An Israeli website says "access denied" explains what it usually means.

Then go one step further than the login page: sign in and do the thing you came for, such as downloading a form or a payslip. To receive SMS codes you will also need an Israeli phone number on file with the service, so check now that the codes reach you. More in SMS codes from Israel abroad.

Bituach Leumi (Israel's National Insurance Institute), gov.il, your bank and the Maccabi and Meuhedet logins opened from abroad without a VPN in the same check. But that is today: Israeli sites change their rules without warning, and at a bank a transfer or a new payee from abroad can be held by anti-fraud checks. Open them with the VPN too, at least once. Then, if something becomes urgent, you just press "Connect" instead of searching for a VPN in a hurry and trying one service after another.

Step 3. Speed and devices

Run a speed test with the VPN on, and open the Israeli sites you use most on your phone as well. Devices are unlimited, so connect everything you will use, including an OpenVPN-compatible router if you have one.

Step 4. Support and decision

If something didn't work, contact support by phone, WhatsApp or email, in Hebrew, English or Russian, and see how quickly and usefully they answer. If everything works, subscribe: 17 CAD a month or 190 CAD a year, taxes included. The paid period starts when you pay; remaining trial days don't extend it. The monthly plan can be cancelled anytime, and on the yearly plan you can request a pro-rated refund within 14 days of purchase. Your configuration file keeps working, so there is nothing to set up again.
